Spring is here which means it's time to celebrate all things hoppy.
Memphis Made is doing our part with Hopped III on Saturday, April 15.
From noon to 9 p.m., we'll be giving you all the hops you can handle. We'll have several limited edition hoppy beers, a mix of new brews and old favorites. We'll also have a SMASH (Single Malt And Single Hop) bar with small-batch beers released every hour throughout the day. This is a great way to dial in just what kind of hops you're into.
Get there early, as we're giving away Hopped III stemware glasses to the first 100 customers.
The Tinglers will start the music at 1 p.m., followed by South Side Supper Club and Devil Train.
Gourmade, Lucky Cat Ramen, and MemPops will be on hand to handle your food cravings.
It's not all hops this spring, however. We're also doing more high gravity beers.
We've released several limited edition beers in April, including DubbelThink, a Belgian Dubbel, around town and in the tap room. Be on the lookout for these.
This month, we've also continued our ramped-up Thursdays.
Most Thursdays, Lucky Cat will be cooking it up in the event room while Kevin Cerrito will be challenging your brain with trivia. Kevin will start at 6:30 p.m. and go until 8:30 p.m. When we host the Comma Comedians, he'll present trivia until 8 p.m. and the comedy show will start at 8:30 p.m.
Finally, this April we're starting up something to showcase our love of Memphis' music and community: the Memphis Made Community Concert Series. Each month we'll book a local band and chose a local charity to benefit. We're kicking things off April 23 with Turnstyles (featuring Graham Winchester and Seth Moody) and Brandon Taylor to raise money for Citizens to Preserve Overton Park. Cash donations will be taken at the door, and we'll be donating a portion of our sales to the Greensward. So bring your family, friends, and an appetite for cold beer and Rock & Roll. Let's get down and get off our lawn!
