We're unleashing a dual beer attack this week for Gonerfest 12.
First up is Gonerbrau, a delicately hopped cream ale. At 4.5 percent ABV, this is a smooth beer made for drinking at a crowded Goner show.
For the second act, we've bottled a limited run of Fuzzbox IPA.
This beer (6.2 percent ABV) has a piney resin from New Zealand Rakau with hints of stone fruit head banging in the background.
Fuzzbox will be sold in 750 milliliter bombers with cover art by Seth Fountain.
Over the past 11 years, music fans from Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Central America and all across the United States have come to Memphis for Gonerfest.
This is the second year Memphis Made has brewed beer for Gonerfest. Last year, we bottled Guitar Attack IPA in 750 milliliter bombers.
"We love partnering with Memphis Made - it's our neighborhood brewery and they make great beer,” Zac Ives, co-owner of Goner Records, said. “Nothing goes down better than a cold beer at the rock
show. It's the perfect fuel for a five-day rock and roll party.”
Look for these beers at Gonerfest shows and retail locations throughout Shelby County.
