Beer dinners. We've put on and attended a lot of them. But when we decided to throw one with our next door neighbors at Aldo's Pizza Pies, we wanted to flip the script a little.
And that's what we're doing with Pizza, Pints & More on Thursday, Aug. 20 at 6:30 p.m.
Instead of bringing the beer to the restaurant, the food is coming to the brewery. This is what you can do when you're a short jaunt across York Avenue.
With more than just pizza, we'll have a good mix of food and beers - some favorites and some new brews - at this event.
Here's the menu:
Course one – Small pizza slices with sausage, caramelized onion, roasted red peppers, and ricotta and pablano cream sauce. This will be paired with Lucid, our light and crisp Kolsch.
Course two – A goat cheese-filled pepper paired with RockBone, an IPA brewed with Mosaic and Herkules hops.
Course three – Shrimp cerviche with basil and lime paired with Soulful Ginger, a saison brewed with candied ginger and peppercorns.
Course four – Pork with risotta and sauce paired with All Sewn up, an English Pale Ale with spicy and earthy hop notes.
Course five – Bread pudding parfait with strawberries and whipped cream paired with Arcas, a limited release brown ale.
