At Memphis Made, we love us some basketball, especially in the spring. To prove it, we're teaming up with our old friends at the Flying Saucer for a month of new beers and specials to go with March Madness.
Memphis Made March Madness will feature four debut and limited edition beers at both Memphis-area Flying Saucer locations, culminating in a beer dinner in April.
Each Monday in March, we'll be bringing something new, different or both to the Downtown and Cordova Flying Saucers. Mondays are also pint nights at the Flying Saucer, with most pints $3.50.
March 3, we'll be debuting Junt, a limited edition farmhouse-style ale with cumin.
We'll be unveiling Bent Note, one of our spring seasonal standards, on March 10. This spring IPA has generous amounts of Nugget and Delta hops.
On March 17, we'll be tapping an oaked version of Plaid Attack, our slightly-smoked Scottish ale.
Finally, on March 24, everyone will be able try Cocoa Reverberation, a chocolate-tinged version of our coffee stout collaboration with Memphis-based Reverb Coffee Company.
The person who gets the last pint of each keg will get free tickets to beer dinners being held at the
Flying Saucer. The dinners will be held 7 p.m., April 3 at both locations and feature all of the beer from March as well as lots of locally-sourced food.
Tickets to the beer dinner will also be sold at both Flying Saucer locations.
